The Journal of Pharmaceutical and Applied Science (JPAAS) follows a peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific relevance of the manuscripts published in the journal.
All submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editorial team to determine whether they are appropriate for the journal and meet the basic requirements for consideration. Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements may be sent to qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts are generally evaluated based on:
Originality and significance of the research
Scientific and methodological quality
Relevance to the scope of the journal
Clarity and organization of the manuscript
Validity of the results and conclusions
Appropriate use of references and supporting literature
Reviewers provide comments and recommendations to assist the editors in making an informed editorial decision. The possible decisions may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may be subject to further review before a final decision is made.
Confidentiality
Manuscripts submitted to JPAAS are treated as confidential during the review process. Reviewers and editors should not disclose or use unpublished information contained in a manuscript for purposes unrelated to the evaluation of the submission.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback. They should disclose any potential conflict of interest and should not participate in the review of a manuscript where such a conflict could affect their impartiality.
Editorial Independence
Final editorial decisions are based on the academic and scientific quality of the manuscript, its relevance to the journal, and the outcome of the peer-review process. Editorial decisions should not be influenced by commercial, financial, or personal interests.
JPAAS reserves the right to modify its peer-review procedures when necessary to maintain the quality and integrity of the publication process.
